Fur Lined Coat

If a rabbit fur coat gave me an allergic reaction, does this mean I’m allergic to rabbits?

My grandparents bought me a fur-lined coat last year. I didn’t know it was real fur, and it gave me hives. We found out it was rabbit fur and we had to take it back. Does this mean I’m allergic to live rabbits too? Should I avoid touching them? (i’m not talking about wild rabbits, I mean the ones they sell at the pet store)
